As a full-time Physical Therapist at Spring Leaf Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center equipped with advanced therapeutic technologies and tools. You will collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, restoring muscle function, and maximizing the functional performance of clients.
  • Evaluate patients’ physical functioning using diagnostic tests, muscle, nerve, and joint assessments to establish a baseline for treatment.
  • Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of individualized plans of care.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and physical agents while instructing patients and families on proper care techniques and exercises for recovery.
  • Assess and modify home environments to enhance patient independence based on therapeutic needs.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring timely submission in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress and collaborate on comprehensive care strategies.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements, adhering to state and federal guidelines while participating in continuous professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those suffering from chronic pain or mobility issues. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in developing rehab plans tailored to each patient's condition, ensuring personalized care that fosters independence and improves quality of life.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapy license and current CPR certification in good standing within the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to make informed decisions based on patient assessments and professional judgement.
Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience in an acute care or home healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation practices and tools, including the ability to assess, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
