Job description

Occupational Therapist - Part Time and Full Time

Location: Scarsdale, New York

At Sprain Brook Manor, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service and individualized care to our residents. Our friendly and welcoming staff work closely with our medical team to deliver a holistic approach to rehabilitation. We are currently seeking a part-time and full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

  • Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care

  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven intervention to patients with a variety of personalities

  • Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' motion and mobility

  • Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers; consult with other health professionals

  • Monitor patient response to treatment intervention

  • Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

  • 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist

  • Physical Therapy License (Required)

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
