SportsMed Physical Therapy is seeking Per-Diem Physical Therapists and PTAs to handle coverage at multiple SportsMed locations in Connecticut.
SportsMed Physical Therapy is a leading outpatient physical therapy practice in the Northeast. We are a multidisciplinary practice, which allows us to provide high-quality comprehensive care for all patients that we treat. Our facilities feature state of the art equipment for the effective treatment of a variety of orthopedic and sports related injuries.

Physical Therapist Qualifications

  • Connecticut Physical Therapist License or PTA License
  • New Grads and Experienced Physical Therapists are Welcome!
  • Computer Literacy
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Physical Therapist Responsibilities
  • Accurately evaluate, diagnose and treat patients, both physician referrals and direct access.
  • Assess each patient and develop appropriate rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain high levels of communication with other service providers such as Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Occupational Therapists to ensure quality patient care.
  • Complete notes thoroughly and within a timely manner to ensure that collaborative care is maintained between other therapists.
  • Work towards the advancement of the clinic by maintaining clinical excellence through various CEUs.
  • Participate in monthly meetings led by the Clinic Director and Office Manager to identify challenges within the clinic to address and improve clinic flow.
  • Attend company-wide meetings to discuss various company initiatives to continuously improve clinical excellence and patient care.
