About the Role:
Spine Care Delaware is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Newark, DE. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated healthcare team where your people skills and attention to detail will make a real difference in the patient experience every single day.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner at the front desk
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service
Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical forms
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
Handle general administrative duties including filing, faxing, and correspondence
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in a medical or healthcare front desk/receptionist role preferred
Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Dependable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
