Spectrum Healthcare Services is seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner in Louisville, KY.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides primary care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Recordsphysical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based onpatients' condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
  • Collaborates with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
  • Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
  • Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
  • Maintains electronic medical records.

  • Job Type: PRN
  • Duration: Ongoing, as needed throughout the year
  • Shift: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM (days varies)
  • Pay Rate: $60.00-$65.00/hour
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or family medicine
  • Prior primary care experience preferred
  • DEA required
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
