Administrative Coordinator
Location: Hanahan, SC
Organization: Berkeley County First Steps
Position Type: Full-Time


Berkeley County First Steps is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Administrative Coordinator to support
the Executive Director and ensure smooth daily operations. This role provides administrative, data, financial, and
board support that strengthens the effectiveness of our mission-driven nonprofit.


Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director
Coordinate board and committee meetings and prepare meeting materials
Manage office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships
Assist with onboarding, HR documentation, and audit preparation
Maintain data systems and support compliance and reporting
Prepare correspondence, reports, and internal documents
Serve as a professional point of contact for families, staff, and partners


Qualifications
Associate's degree in business administration, office management, accounting, or related field; bachelor's preferred
Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
3-5 years of administrative or office coordination experience
Experience supporting executive leadership or boards preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
