We are seeking an experienced Millwork Engineer / Cabinet Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork, with hands-on experience programming Cabinets and supporting production from engineering through manufacturing.

This position plays a key role in optimizing production, and ensuring projects are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and program custom cabinetry for production.
• Create and modify CNC programs, including custom programming and tooling.
• Program 2D polygons and optimize machining operations.
• Prepare production-ready files for CNC equipment.
• Work closely with production to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Optimize cutting layouts and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Support engineering, production, and project teams throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and production files.

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, or commercial casework.
• Proficiency with Mozaik/Microvellum, and Aspire,
• SketchUp and Cut Rite experience is a plus.
• Experience with dowel insertion machines is a plus.
• Experience with Homag machinery, including:
• CNC routers (pod and nested based)
• Experience programming CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of tooling and machining strategies.
• Project management or engineering management experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
