About the Role

Sovereign Mining is hiring a Marketing & Recruiting Specialist to help us grow both our brand and our team. This is a dual-function role for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and people. You’ll shape how the world sees Sovereign Mining while also making sure we’re attracting and landing the right talent to support our expanding operations.


This is a high-ownership role at a growing company. You’ll have real influence over how we present ourselves to clients and candidates alike, with the support of leadership and the latitude to build something meaningful.

What You’ll Do

Marketing

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns that raise brand awareness and support the sales pipeline.

• Create and manage content across digital channels; website, LinkedIn, email, and industry publications.

• Produce sales collateral including one-pagers, case studies, presentations, and proposal templates.

• Track and report on marketing performance metrics, using data to refine strategy over time.

• Coordinate trade show and industry event presence, including materials, logistics, and follow-up.

• Partner with the sales team to ensure messaging is consistent, compelling, and conversion-focused.


Recruiting

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process for field, operational, and corporate roles.

• Write and post job descriptions that attract qualified, mission-aligned candidates.

• Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry networks.

• Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring managers through the process.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs.

• Cultivate a positive candidate experience that reflects Sovereign Mining’s values from first contact through offer.


Who You Are

• A versatile self-starter who’s equally comfortable writing a LinkedIn post and screening a field technician candidate.

• Detail-oriented and organized, you can juggle multiple projects and open reqs without things slipping.

• A strong writer who can adapt tone and message for different audiences and channels.

• Someone who takes ownership: you don’t wait to be told what needs doing, you figure it out and get it done.

• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving company where the playbook is still being written.


Qualifications

Required

• 2-5 years of experience in marketing, recruiting, or a combination of both.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clean, professional content.

• Experience managing social media or digital marketing channels (LinkedIn in particular).

• Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar tools.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


Preferred

• Experience in the mining, construction, energy, or industrial services sectors.

• Proficiency with design tools.

• Experience supporting a growing or early-stage company through a period of rapid hiring.


The Details

• Location: Austin, Texas (in-person)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility for events or time-sensitive projects

• Travel: Occasional travel for trade shows or recruiting events

• Support: Direct access to leadership and full organizational backing to do your best work
