Position Overview

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sound Choice Mental Health, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding individuals on their journey toward improved mental wellness. You will conduct therapy sessions that may include individual, couples, or group formats, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique situation. Work Environment

In this remote position, you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals through exceptional mental health care. Our team regularly engages in meetings focused on professional support and development, cultivating a culture of collaboration and shared success. This setting is designed to ensure that your contributions are recognized and valued while allowing you to maintain a manageable caseload of approximately twenty-eight clients per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify each client's mental health needs and collaboratively develop customized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that your approach aligns with the clients' individual goals and needs.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure lasting improvements in mental health.
• Educate clients on effective coping strategies and techniques that empower them to maintain their mental health outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health professionals as necessary to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and ethics.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of the latest industry practices.
• In addition, you will have opportunities to diversify your skill set by exploring and integrating specialized psychotherapy modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sound Choice Mental Health, you will be working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid Washington State license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred, showcasing your capability to navigate the complexities of mental health counseling.
• Your background should include a strong foundation in customer service and client advocacy, along with training in evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Sound Choice Mental Health offers competitive compensation within the range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, reflecting our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
