Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to understand clients' unique mental health challenges and strengths.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy by implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Create and monitor personalized treatment plans, establishing clear therapeutic goals to help clients attain measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care for clients.
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes to foster community among clients and encourage shared healing experiences.
• Perform crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning effectively, ensuring the well-being of clients in immediate distress.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans, fully adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families seeking assistance for a variety of mental health issues. Our clients come from different backgrounds and experiences, providing you with the opportunity to utilize your skills across varied therapeutic contexts. Your role will be pivotal in promoting emotional well-being, resilience, and healthy relationships within families and communities.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities relevant to marriage and family therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and diagnostic assessment skills.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health or outpatient setting is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital tools for remote counseling is a plus and should enhance your ability to connect with clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
