Job description

Job Summary:
Keylent Inc is a company seeking a Java Developer with Kafka expertise to join their team. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software applications using the Java tech stack while ensuring application security and leveraging cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Java tech stack.
• Building APIs (Restful/SOAP), OAS (Swagger), Microservice development (Spring Boot), Postman/SOAPUI.
• Working with application security involving AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing) and security patterns like AUTH2.0, JWT/JWS.
• Utilizing Cloud Native technologies.
• Using one or more Relational & non-relational NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis), SQL and PL/SQL.
• Applying test-driven development methodology.
• Using test automation tools such as Tosca, Junit, Mockito, and Gherkin.
• Working with Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Bitbucket, AppDynamics, Jira and Confluence.
• Using Azure Event Hub, Azure Blob Storage, Stream Analytics.
• Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipeline including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, SonarQube.
• Working with Kafka, event driven architecture.
• Leading strategy, governance, and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions.
• Gaining experience in the financial services industry.
• Using analytics and performance monitoring.
• Participating in Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban.
• Implementing security measures such as Voltage, Sonatype, WebInspect, Fortify.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Java tech stack and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions.
• 3 or more years of experience building APIs (Restful/SOAP), OAS (Swagger), Microservice development (Spring Boot), Postman/SOAPUI
• 3 or more years of experience with application security involving AAA (Authentication, Authorization and Auditing) and security patterns like AUTH2.0, JWT/JWS
• 3 or more years of experience working in Cloud Native technologies
• 3 or more years of experience using one or more Relational & non-relational NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis), SQL and PL/SQL
• Working knowledge of test-driven development methodology.
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Tosca, Junit, Mockito, and Gherkin.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Familiarity or some experience with Splunk, Bitbucket, AppDynamics, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Azure Event Hub, Azure Blob Storage, Stream Analytics.
