We are a growing commercial cleaning and field services company based in Mount Vernon, NY, looking for a sharp, organized leader to run the day-to-day engine of our business and help drive its growth. This is a hands-on role: you'll keep our field teams accountable, our clients informed, our pipeline moving, and our operations running smoothly.
If you're a natural leader who thrives on structure, communication, and follow-through, and you're motivated by growing a business, not just maintaining it, we want to meet you.
Role Expectations
Lead the Field
- Hold field supervisors accountable to company SOPs and daily reporting
- Monitor job documentation, follow up on open issues, and escalate recurring concerns to ownership
- Coordinate technician and subcontractor schedules, work orders, and job confirmations
Drive Growth
- Own and manage our AI-generated lead pipeline inside our CRM system, from first inquiry through scheduled site visit, including following up on inbound leads within a defined timeframe and calling warm leads
- Prepare and follow up on estimates and proposals until a decision is made, coordinating with ownership as needed
- Build repeat and referral business through past clients and relationships with property and facility managers
- Track weekly sales metrics: leads, estimates sent, jobs won, and close rate
Lead Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client correspondence and status updates
- Address client questions and concerns professionally; support the owner on escalations
- Draft professional correspondence for clients, vendors, and internal teams
Run the Back Office
- Run daily and weekly reports on job status and performance
- Maintain internal documentation, work order records, and vendor files
- Manage and route company email inboxes; ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Support Safety & Compliance
- Help maintain documentation and standards for field safety and environmental compliance (NYSDEC, OSHA, SDS)
- Ensure PPE and proper storage protocols are followed in the field
- Lead first response documentation on any incident or spill (full training provided)
What We're Looking For
- Strong communicator: clear, professional, and calm under pressure; you'll represent this company both in the field and on the phone
- Organized and detail-oriented: able to manage competing priorities without losing focus
- A natural leader: comfortable holding people accountable with professionalism
- Comfortable with outbound calls and proposal follow-up: this role includes real sales responsibility, not just admin support
- Solution-oriented: you don't just flag problems, you help solve them
- Proficient with Gmail, Google Sheets, and operations or task-management tools
- Comfortable learning and running a CRM system daily (full training provided)
- Prior experience in a service-based, sales, or operations environment preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with ConnectTeam, Jobber, or similar field-management platforms
- Cleaning, facilities, or field services industry background
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
