Job Summary:
Solutions³ LLC is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Manager to lead the management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring effective deployment and maintenance for critical operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee provisioning and fulfillment of engagement kit requests within eight business hours of federal authorization
• Manage decommissioning and secure termination of engagement kits following data archival confirmation
• Coordinate with engagement leads, analysts, case managers, and federal leadership to ensure mission alignment
• Produce and deliver weekly operational reports summarizing engagement kit status, health, and performance metrics
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for cloud infrastructure issues
• Manage resource allocation, scaling operations to match engagement requirements
• Ensure compliance with security protocols including TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption and hardened cloud configurations
• Oversee software license management and coordinate hardware shipments when required
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for cloud operations
• Serve as primary liaison between technical teams and government stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting employment
• 8+ years of directly relevant experience in cloud operations or infrastructure management
• 3+ years of management or team leadership experience
• Expert knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response operations
• Experience managing 24/7 operational environments
• Excellent communication skills with ability to brief senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field; or 10+ years of relevant work experience and High School Diploma
Preferred:
• Experience supporting federal government programs
• Background in cybersecurity operations or threat hunting
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar cloud certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
