Job description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a local school-based assignment. This part-time contract offers meaningful interactions with a diverse PreK-9th grade caseload, perfect for professionals with strong pediatric experience or those eager to build expertise in a school environment. The assignment, beginning August 28, 2026, involves leave coverage for three days per week, with consistent daytime hours from 7:50 am to 3:15 pm, making it an ideal fit for those seeking a balanced schedule.
This opportunity is open to candidates holding either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. You'll work closely with students to deliver engaging and effective therapeutic interventions, conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with teachers and families.
Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active Ohio state SLP license
  • Ohio teaching certification
  • Experience in pediatric, CFY, or school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to PreK-9th grade students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with education staff and caregivers to support student success
