About the Role:
Soccer Shots - TXLA is looking for an energetic and passionate Children's Soccer Coach to inspire the next generation of players in Humble, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of soccer with the joy of working with kids in a fun, high-energy environment. If you're a natural motivator who loves making a positive impact, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
  • Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork
  • Create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for all participants
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress
  • Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
  • Follow Soccer Shots curriculum and program guidelines consistently
  • Serve as a positive role model promoting sportsmanship and character development
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
  • Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with kids
  • Reliable transportation to travel to program locations in the Humble, TX area
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
