Job description

Snelling is recruiting an experienced Low Voltage Maintenance Technician for an Engineering company in the Trafford, AL area.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Weekends as needed (primarily when on a job site)
Starting Pay: $20.00-30.00/hr, based on experience
Travel: Travel up to 50% to job sites nationwide. Opportunity for global travel.

Responsibilities for Low Voltage Maintenance Technician:
  • Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Terminate low-voltage cabling whilst following control prints
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and equipment repairs
Required Qualifications for Low Voltage Maintenance Technician:
  • 2+ years of experience working with industrial controls and low-voltage systems
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical controls prints and schematics
  • Proficiency in detecting electrical malfunctions using precision measuring instruments
  • Experience calibrating and adjusting electrical systems for optimal performance
  • Familiarity with E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) practices and procedures
  • Field service experience, preferably in low-voltage systems
