Job description

SNAP Custom Pizza and Salads is an artisanal pizza and salad shop offering delicious pizza and salad options to the public every day of the week. As a part of the team at Snap Custom Pizza and Salads, you would be directly responsible for every customers experience, from the moment we greet them as they enter the store, to the last touches they get on their items before they sit down to eat. At SNAP Custom Pizza and Salads our top priority is the satisfaction and comfort of those who visit us and our team members.

Are you looking for a part or full-time job in a fun, flexible setting? Well, we are currently looking for Culinary Trainees to work in the kitchen at our store!

Compensation

  • $15 per hour
  • Plus TIPS

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dough, cheese, sauces, and pizza toppings using preparation guidelines and proper portioning tools
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored and dated properly
  • Adhere to food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Ensure the quality of the ingredients we use following a FIFO standard
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of each product
  • Monitor inventory and place food orders as necessary

Qualifications

  • Being a people person
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Being punctual and reliable

Preferred Experience:

  • Cooking/kitchen prep (1 year) preferred
  • Will train the right person

Who We Are

In the 1990s, Peter Howey & Aaron Nocks were experimenting with homemade pizza in their kitchen with no pretense other than making great pizzas for themselves and the Villanova rowing team. They fell in love with the art of pizza making. A lot of hard work and a few years later, Snap Custom Pizza was founded on the same ideals that started in the kitchen; We use fresh, quality ingredients just like you would at home. We make everything from scratch and are constantly developing new pizza recipes.
