Smart Home and Security Specialist

SmartShield Homes, one of Southwest Florida's prominent low voltage and electrical companies, has an immediate opening for a Smart Home and Security Specialist. Join a company that provides continuous training with a focus on career growth working with leading brands such as Alarm.com, Lutron, SONOS and Sony.

Responsibilities:

• Install and activate wireless security and camera networks via Alarm.com (infrastructure prewired by other team members. No rough-in required)
• Deploy Eero networks for reliable device connectivity.
• Set up smart environments which may include Lutron switches, dimmers, locks, thermostats and garage door openers.
• Handle AV integration such as mounting Sony displays and SONOS multi-zone systems
• Offer additional products and services to the homeowner. Uncapped commission structure.
• Conduct client hand-offs to ensure customers are well-trained and confident in their systems.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of wireless security installation
• High School Diploma or GED
• FASA/BASA Certification a plus
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks, audio-video device installation a plus
• Positive and professional attitude with a focus on quality and team success
• No required weekend rotations
• A valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
• Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a drug/alcohol screening background check
