Key Responsibilities

• Deliver teletherapy services primarily using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-based approach to clients dealing with various mental health issues.
• Utilize a streamlined electronic health record (EHR) system for efficient documentation and client tracking, reducing time spent on administrative tasks.
• Participate in scheduled peer consultation meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and benefit from collective expertise.
• Engage in regular continuing education (CE) opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mental health care.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule, available Monday through Friday, to provide stability and reliability for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary role will involve working with a diverse range of clients seeking mental health services. The patient population includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other emotional challenges. By making use of Telehealth, we aim to enhance access to care for individuals who may face barriers in traditional in-person settings.

Qualifications

• Must have an active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required; candidates with advanced degrees will be prioritized as we embrace diverse educational backgrounds.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year working independently, is essential for this position to ensure competent service delivery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using telehealth platforms and familiarity with CBT and other therapeutic modalities is highly desirable to enhance client engagement.
• Previous experience in community mental health settings or knowledge of client-centered approaches can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Smart Talk Counseling Solutions offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and background. In addition to a base salary, counselors may receive bonuses tied to client sessions.
