Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality virtual therapy sessions rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy principles to clients dealing with various mental health challenges.
• Utilize a streamlined electronic medical record (EMR) system to efficiently document client progress, therapeutic interventions, and treatment plans.
• Engage in regular peer consultation meetings to enhance professional development, share insights, and collaboratively discuss complex cases.
• Take part in continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of best practices and expand your therapeutic skill set.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure personalized attention for each client, leading to better therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Smart Talk Counseling Solutions, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, which may include children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing an array of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will play a vital role in empowering these clients to navigate their mental health journeys through evidence-based treatment.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Florida license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline is essential, with a graduate degree strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, including at least 1 year of independent practice after licensure.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy best practices is beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with CBT and other therapeutic modalities.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding their unique challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

Smart Talk Counseling Solutions offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
