Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of residential and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and more. You will provide in-home service and ensure high-quality repairs that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with appliances.
  • Perform repairs and part replacements on major household appliances.
  • Accurately document service calls, repair details, and parts used.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
  • Maintain and manage a service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
  • Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.
  • Keep up to date with appliance technology and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA certification (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy appliances and work in various residential settings.
