Dental Hygienists Wanted for Practices in Lansdowne & Culpeper, Virginia

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Dental Hygienist in our expanding dental practices located in Lansdowne and Culpeper, Virginia!

In this role, you will support the dentist with various procedures and operate x-ray machines. To excel in this position, candidates should possess a valid state hygiene license and have prior experience as a dental hygienist.

Compensation Package
  • Schedule: Flexible working hours
  • Compensation: $75-$80 per hour
Key Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist
  • Utilizing dental tools to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth and below gum margins.
  • Reviewing and documenting patient medical histories.
  • Employing probes to assess and identify periodontal issues and other signs of gum disease.
  • Recording instances of dental decay and disease for the dentist's diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintaining dental equipment and x-ray machines.
  • Conducting visual and tactile examinations of gums for signs of disease, sores, and other oral health concerns.
  • Encouraging preventive dental care to enhance patient oral health.
  • Applying fluoride and other agents to prevent dental decay.
  • Collaborating with dentists and dental assistants.
  • Managing a dental hygiene program for patients.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Valid state hygiene license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Capability to administer local anesthetics.
  • Proficient in operating x-ray machines.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computers for various tasks.
  • In-depth knowledge of oral hygiene and dental health.
