Job description

Seeking an applicant for immediate hire

Start 7/13/26

8 hour shifts

$200-250 / night depending on experience


Slumber Support RN (“Employer”) provides non-medical, non-emergency

overnight infant care services for infants from birth through twelve (12) months

of age (“Services”). Services are intended solely to elevate routine nighttime care

and parental rest. This does not constitute medical, nursing, diagnostic, or

emergency care.

Slumber Support RN does not provide emergency services and shall not be

relied upon as a substitute for medical providers or emergency responders. In the

event of a medical emergency, the Client is responsible for contacting their

pediatrician, obstetric provider, or emergency services (911). Contractor

personnel may initiate CPR/BLS interventions within the scope of their training

while emergency services are contacted.

**All Contractor personnel must maintain current CPR and Basic Life Support

(BLS) certification.


At the Client’s request, Contractor personnel may assist with the following non-

exhaustive list of routine infant-care-related tasks:

Providing infant feedings at designated times during overnight hours, using

supplies and instructions provided by the Client.

Washing and sterilizing used pump supplies and bottle parts used during the

shift.

Maintaining clean, dry diapers and infant sleep linens throughout the shift.

Maintaining a written or digital log of feedings and diaper changes, including

times and amounts as provided or observed.

Folding infant clothing during the shift

Gathering soiled infant linens and placing them in the washing machine by

morning

Properly refrigerating pumped breast milk within four (4) to five (5) hours of

pumping, as directed by the Client.

Assisting with routine postpartum support tasks if specifically requested by the

Client.

Assisting with basic lactation support, including breastfeeding and pumping

support, if requested by the Client (not a substitute for an IBCLC or medical

professional).

Follow a “moms on call” sleep training method

*Contractor does not supply infant food, formula, breast milk, medications, or

medical equipment.
