At Slipstream, we work to streamline IT Support and provide managed solutions with a strategic consulting and global leadership management approach. Our solutions are designed exclusively for emerging pharma and biotech organizations. Led by a leadership team that has been together for over 10 years, you will join a proven team, culture, and strategy to drive innovation within the IT outsourcing industry while developing your skillset with opportunities for internal growth.
THE ROLE
We're hiring an AI Practitioner to sit at the intersection of client delivery and technical build. You'll lead phased AI enablement engagements, assessing department maturity, delivering tiered workshops, and running ongoing support while also building and deploying AI workflows for clients who are ready to go further. Some days you're facilitating a Claude or ChatGPT workshop with a client's operations team. Other days you're in the platform building automations or helping a small expert cohort get started with more advanced tooling.
This role exists because our practice is growing faster than our capacity. You'll work directly with our AI Director and have real ownership of client engagements from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead department AI assessments baselining teams on the maturity curve and producing the AI Maturity Snapshot and enablement plan
  • Deliver hands-on tiered AI enablement workshops matched to where each department actually is
  • Run open office hours and 1-2-1 sessions to support users building real use cases, including agents
  • Build and deploy AI workflows and automations for clients moving from enablement into active value capture
  • Consult on AI agent strategy and help clients identify workflows worth automating
  • Support internal AI adoption across Slipstream's own team
  • Close the insights loop between departments so each rollout is sharper than the last

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You understand AI, its strengths and its failings. You have genuine AI fluency, you are an experimenter, and technologist. For this role, that's the baseline, not the bonus.
  • You experiment constantly - you're building agents, testing workflows, and pushing tools beyond their obvious use cases in your own time
  • You've shipped something with AI: a workflow, an integration, an agent, a tool, something real that solves a real problem
  • You can talk about AI strategy, capability, and limitations at a proficient to expert level, in a boardroom, in a workshop, and with a sceptic
  • You understand the difference between a Novice user and an Expert and can adjust your approach on the fly
  • You pick up new platforms quickly and don't wait to be told how
  • You write clearly. Our clients are in regulated industries and they notice.

NICE TO HAVES
  • Experience in a consulting, MSP, or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with major AI platforms and enterprise workflow tooling
  • Life sciences or regulated industry background
