Job Summary:
Simpro Software is a company focused on revenue operations, and they are seeking a Customer Operations Analyst. This role is crucial for enabling data-driven decision-making and delivering insights related to customer lifecycle performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Analyze customer and revenue data to support Customer Operations, RevOps, and go-to-market teams with clear, actionable insights.
โ€ข Build, maintain, and enhance operational dashboards and reports that track key customer lifecycle metrics (e.g., onboarding, adoption, retention, expansion).
โ€ข Partner with RevOps Data Engineering to ensure data pipelines, models, and definitions support reliable reporting and analysis.
โ€ข Own the accuracy and consistency of key Customer Operations metrics, ensuring alignment with RevOps and Finance definitions.
โ€ข Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify trends, drivers, and opportunities related to customer behavior, operational efficiency, and revenue performance.
โ€ข Translate business questions into structured analyses and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
โ€ข Support the certification and ongoing improvement of core operational dashboards used by customer-facing teams.
โ€ข Proactively identify data quality issues, metric inconsistencies, or reporting gaps, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve them.
โ€ข Contribute to documentation of metrics, dashboards, and analytical assumptions to improve transparency and self-service reporting.

Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
โ€ข Strong proficiency in SQL.
โ€ข Experience building dashboards and reports using modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
โ€ข Solid analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex datasets with high attention to detail.
โ€ข Strong business acumen and ability to connect data insights to operational and revenue outcomes.
โ€ข Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
โ€ข Comfort working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience querying large datasets in a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Google BigQuery) is highly preferred.
โ€ข Experience in Revenue Operations, Customer Operations, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses is a plus.
โ€ข Familiarity with data modeling concepts, ETL processes, or Python is a plus but not required.
