With competitive annual compensation ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about promoting mental well-being and equipped with the expertise to make a meaningful impact.

About the Organization

At River Oaks Psychotherapy Ltd., our mission is simple yet profound: we aim to provide the highest quality mental health care to underserved communities, ensuring that anyone, regardless of their location, has access to effective therapies. Our clinic is staffed with experienced mental health professionals dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. We are committed to your development as a clinician and prioritize your professional growth.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for enhanced work-life balance. You will engage face-to-face with clients through a secure telehealth platform, ensuring a personal and effective therapeutic experience. Our virtual environment not only supports flexibility but also prioritizes a culture of inclusivity and collaboration, where you’ll be encouraged to share insights and strategies with fellow team members across the nation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at River Oaks Psychotherapy, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to establish baselines for clients' mental health and collaboratively create individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), customizing approaches to meet the specific preferences and needs of your clients.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards for record-keeping.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health providers, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Actively participate in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance treatment outcomes and professional development.
  • Provide education and emotional support to clients and their families to enhance their understanding of mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
  • Stay current with developments in the mental health field, applying the latest research findings and best practices to inform your clinical work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality of life for a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By using person-centered and culturally sensitive approaches, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, ultimately empowering them to achieve their wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active LCSW license in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building trusting relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technology and online therapy platforms.
  • Participation in ongoing professional development activities or workshops related to mental health.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary in the range of $120,000 to $140,000, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage to protect you and your family.
  • Professional liability malpractice insurance provided at no cost.
  • Employee Assistance Program offering additional support for mental health and wellness.
  • Unlimited referrals, allowing you to maintain a steady workload focused on quality care.
  • Significant reduction in administrative tasks to maximize your time spent with clients.
Career Growth Opportunities

At River Oaks Psychotherapy, we promote continuous learning and professional advancement. You will have access to training resources, mentorship, and opportunities to specialize in areas of interest, whether that be in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or another practice area. Our supportive culture encourages you to grow alongside the organization.
