Job Summary
Simple Custodial Services is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Daytime Commercial Cleaner for a client facility in Kilgore, Texas.
This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, works well independently, follows instructions, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and professional facility.
Pay and Schedule
  • Pay: $13.00 per hour 
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. 
  • Expected weekly hours: Approximately 27.5 hours 
  • Location: Kilgore, Texas 75662 
  • Employment type: Part-time, in-person 
This is an hourly employee position. Employees are paid their hourly rate for all hours worked and accurately recorded. Employee compensation is separate from the amount Simple Custodial Services charges its clients for cleaning services.
Candidates should apply only if they can consistently work the complete Monday-through-Friday schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned flooring and carpeted areas. 
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and fixtures. 
  • Empty trash containers, replace liners, and take waste to the designated disposal area. 
  • Dust and wipe furniture, surfaces, fixtures, and office equipment. 
  • Clean breakrooms, common areas, interior glass, doors, and partitions. 
  • Restock soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other facility supplies. 
  • Properly use and store cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment. 
  • Follow facility-specific cleaning procedures and safety requirements. 
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or low supplies to the supervisor. 
  • Complete other related cleaning duties based on facility needs. 
Position Requirements
  • Must be dependable and report to scheduled shifts on time. 
  • Must be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. 
  • Must be able to reliably report to the Kilgore work location. 
  • Must be able to work independently and complete assigned duties within the scheduled shift. 
  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. 
  • Must communicate attendance, supply, and facility concerns to the supervisor. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. 
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required. 
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Stand and walk for most of the scheduled shift. 
  • Bend, reach, kneel, squat, push, and pull. 
  • Perform repetitive cleaning movements. 
  • Operate standard commercial cleaning equipment. 
  • Safely lift and carry up to 25 or 50 pounds. 
  • Use cleaning products according to label and safety instructions. 
Attendance Expectations
Dependable attendance is an essential requirement of this position. Employees must arrive on time and notify their supervisor as soon as possible when an emergency prevents them from reporting to work.
Candidates accepting an employment offer will be required to confirm their start date and first scheduled shift.
