Your work at ProFlex will take place in a vibrant outpatient office setting located in the scenic Silver Springs area of Nevada, offering a pleasant environment for rehabilitation and recovery. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical function, strength, and mobility to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education, to facilitate recovery.
  • Apply advanced diagnostic techniques to accurately identify treatment needs and set realistic recovery goals.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention, and home exercise programs to foster independence in recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and nurses to enhance patient care and streamline the rehabilitation process.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand their treatment options and progress.
  • Monitor patient outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on progress and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress in an electronic health record system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At ProFlex, we cater primarily to an outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those with chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic spans various age groups and backgrounds, allowing for a diverse and enriching clinical experience. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, offering not only professional support but also encouragement and motivation.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective patient engagement and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to assess and develop treatment plans that are client-specific and conducive to achieving their recovery goals.
  • A sincere passion for helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
  • Capability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with current physical therapy modalities and techniques, including therapeutic exercise and injury prevention strategies.
  • Experience in utilizing electronic health record systems and maintaining patient documentation.
