Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health and emotional status to identify individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on measurable goals for patient improvement.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health challenges.
• Monitor and document client progress through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention when required, ensuring timely and appropriate support to clients in acute distress.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and other legal standards.
• Engage in continual learning by staying current on advancements in mental health research and methodologies.
• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills and discuss best practices.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines as per the licensing board and maintain a commitment to professional integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed mental health counselor at Silver Crest, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals with varying mental health needs such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients often seek support in navigating personal challenges, and your role will be pivotal in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Empathetic and ethically-minded, dedicated to promoting client well-being.

Preferred Experience
