Description

Silo Point Country Club located in Southbury, Connecticut is looking for employees for the 2026 Season. Duties include but are not limited to walking, mowing, trimming, raking, and digging. Work week consists of days M-F and one weekend morning.


Anticipated Start: April 1st

Requirements

  • Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance is a plus.  
  • Basic knowledge of turf care practices, including mowing and trimming.  
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and mowing equipment.  
  • Understanding of safe work practices and ability to follow instructions and procedures.  
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to course quality standards.  
  • Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, etc.).  
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality required.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed during peak golf season.  
  • Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette for working safely around players
