Job description

Position Overview

Signify Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is designed for mental health professionals looking to provide supportive, personalized care to individuals struggling with various mental health issues. Our counselors work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans that promote healing and personal growth.

About the Organization

Located in Seattle, Washington, Signify Health & Rehabilitation Center is a community health clinic committed to enhancing the well-being of our patients through compassionate care and innovative treatment methods. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach, merging evidence-based practices with a personalized touch, ensuring that every client receives tailored support. Our team of licensed therapists is dedicated to empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives, focusing on both mental and emotional health.

Work Environment

As a remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while staying connected with a supportive team of professionals. Our virtual office culture emphasizes collaboration, encouragement, and continuous improvement. You will have access to tools and resources that facilitate communication, including teletherapy platforms and digital documentation systems that support efficient client management and compliance with ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health concerns, utilizing established diagnostic criteria to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, ensuring alignment with clients' therapeutic goals and preferences.
  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to address issues like anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions to support clients who may face barriers to in-person therapy, ensuring equitable access to mental health services.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of sessions and client progress, adhering to privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in practice.
  • Engage in professional development, attending workshops and training programs to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed about the latest therapeutic methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population comprises individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys through empathetic, evidence-based interventions tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A valid mental health license in the state of Washington, including Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients to foster a therapeutic relationship.
  • Demonstrated empathy and a non-judgmental attitude, key traits for relating to clients' diverse experiences and needs.
  • Adept organizational skills, capable of managing multiple clients and their respective documentation deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a private practice setting or community health clinic.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy technologies and their impact on client engagement.
  • Knowledge of various treatment modalities tailored to trauma-informed care.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
  • A sign-on bonus specifically for licensed therapists joining our team, underscoring our commitment to attracting top talent.
  • Flexible scheduling options, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance that accommodates your personal and professional commitments.
  • Regular opportunities for professional growth, including workshops, seminars, and continuing education reimbursement to support your development.
  • A collaborative work environment that promotes peer support and mentorship, ensuring you feel connected and valued within the team.
  • Comprehensive administrative support for scheduling, billing, and insurance processes, allowing you to focus on client care rather than paperwork.
  • Professional autonomy in tailoring your approach to treatment based on your unique expertise and the specific needs of your clients.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Signify Health & Rehabilitation Center, we believe in nurturing the professional development of our staff. Counselors are encouraged to take on leadership roles and participate in company-wide initiatives that enhance our service delivery. You will have pathways for advancement and opportunities to impact our clinical operations positively as we grow.
