Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role located in Sarasota, FL. The Sales Associate will greet and assist customers in the showroom, understand their project needs, and guide them through product selection for marble, granite, and related surfaces. Daily tasks include answering customer questions, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with fabrication and installation teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role also involves maintaining product displays, learning key features and benefits of materials, and following up with prospects to support ongoing sales opportunities. The Sales Associate is expected to provide professional, courteous service, contribute to sales targets, and uphold company standards for quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in retail, showroom, or sales environments, with strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge or interest in construction materials, interior design, or home improvement, including the ability to learn about stone products and applications.
• Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional email and phone etiquette.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple customer inquiries, quotes, and orders simultaneously.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems, basic computer applications, and the ability to learn company-specific software for quotes and order tracking.
• Ability to work on-site in a showroom environment, including standing for extended periods and safely navigating material displays.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with sales team members, fabrication staff, and installers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in sales, home improvement, or related fields is preferred but not required.
