Job description

Signal Branch Patrol Supervisor

A Signal Branch Patrol Supervisor provides functional leadership to Signal's Community Based Security Officers through the development and implementation of policies and practices essential to the effective management of day-to-day operations. Basic duties include protecting all sites and managing all reporting officers. All duties listed below are minimum requirements, additional site-specific duties may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, monitor, and develop accountability for the individual performance of the Advanced Patrol Officer and Patrol Officer's to align with company standards i.e. patrol completion, report writing, etc.
  • Leads the Branch Manager Daily Scrum to communicate all service, property, post order, and routing changes.
  • Schedules and conducts spot checks with officers under their supervision, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as needed.
  • Promptly and consistently report any client specific information or issues to the Coordinator, while helping to execute and provide resolutions to any client issues or concerns.
  • Participate in the hiring process, interviewing candidates, and setting up orientation dates and times. Communicate regularly with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
  • Responsible for equipment inventory and maintenance including uniforms, vehicles, devices, phones, etc. while communicating needs and issues to their Coordinator.
  • Participating in a performance review during recommended time frames with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring schedule is complete to fulfill contracted services and will cover shifts as necessary to ensure completion while minimizing overtime.
  • Responsible for recommending and issuing disciplinary action for personnel in violation of the Signal Standard Operating Procedures. Furthermore, providing positive recognition for personnel going above and beyond the Signal expectations.
  • Communicate with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly score card, route reviews, operation priorities, and all client related issues.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Complete training modules within first month
  • Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
  • Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
