Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of Siegfried Advisory and as part of the Siegfried Advisory Leadership Team, the Recruiting Director is responsible for owning and delivering recruiting outcomes across the Firm, including hiring results, pipeline strength, and the effectiveness and scalability of the recruiting model.

This role will build, evolve, and lead Siegfried Advisory's recruiting function, transitioning from a predominantly agency and Referral Appreciation Program-driven model to a more balanced approach (in non-Tax Resourcing areas) incorporating direct sourcing, disciplined process execution, and proactive pipeline development across Financial Advisory Services, Tax Advisory Services, Operations, and Leadership roles.

The Recruiting Director is accountable for driving a high-quality, efficient, and consistent recruiting process, while ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and stakeholders. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate and execute in the near term while building a scalable, high-performing recruiting capability aligned with the Firm's growth objectives.

Position Summary

This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate and execute in the near term while building a scalable, high-performing recruiting capability aligned with the Firm's growth objectives.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

Overall

  • Own end-to-end execution of the recruiting process from initial candidate engagement through close, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency

  • Build and maintain strong, relationship-driven candidate pipelines, ensuring continuous recruiting activity aligned to hiring needs

  • Identify, engage, and recruit high-caliber professionals aligned with Siegfried's High Performance Model and cultural expectations

  • Lead ongoing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment, improve outcomes, and strengthen recruiting strategy

  • Establish and enforce clear expectations and accountability across all participants in the recruiting process

  • Develop, coach, and hold accountable the Siegfried Advisory Recruiting Coordinator(s) to deliver at a high level

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through

Siegfried Advisory Recruiting Model Ownership

  • Own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Siegfried Advisory's recruiting model across all service lines and functions

  • Build and scale direct sourcing capabilities (in all non-TR areas), including proactive market mapping, targeted outreach, and pipeline development for key roles

  • Reduce reliance on external agencies by strengthening internal sourcing effectiveness and recruiting execution in all non-TR areas

  • Maintain and optimize the current Tax Resourcing recruiting model, improving coordination, visibility, and consistency of execution

  • Standardize recruiting processes to ensure clarity, scalability, and disciplined execution across the Firm

  • Own recruiting performance metrics, including pipeline strength, time-to-fill, conversion rates, and overall hiring effectiveness

  • Drive continuous improvement in recruiting efficiency, including speed, coordination, and decision-making effectiveness

  • Implement structured tracking, reporting, and data-driven insights across all stages of the recruiting lifecycle

  • Enhance interview quality and candidate assessment through strong process design, preparation, and feedback discipline

  • Build and sustain multi-channel pipelines leveraging agencies, referrals, and direct sourcing strategies for all non-TR areas

  • Partner with The Siegfried Group recruiting leadership to ensure alignment and leverage of shared capabilities where appropriate

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the Siegfried Advisory Recruiting Coordinator(s).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in professional services environments, in particular finance, accounting, and tax talent disciplines

  • Proven experience recruiting for a broad range of roles, including leadership, advisory, business development, and operational positions

  • Demonstrated experience building, scaling, or significantly enhancing recruiting functions, including the development of direct sourcing capabilities and proactive pipeline strategies

  • Demonstrated ownership of recruiting outcomes, including hiring results, pipeline strength, process effectiveness, and stakeholder alignment

  • Strong understanding of financial advisory, accounting, and tax talent markets, including candidate profiles, competitive dynamics, and sourcing strategies

  • Proven ability to operate with a strong commercial mindset, aligning recruiting priorities with business growth objectives and talent needs

  • Track record of reducing reliance on external agencies through the development of effective internal recruiting capabilities, while appropriately leveraging external partners where needed

  • Experience building and managing multi-channel recruiting pipelines, including agency, referral, and direct sourcing approaches

  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decision-making and improve recruiting outcomes

  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and developing team members

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing recruiting team members, including driving performance and supporting long-term professional growth

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, engage candidates effectively, and convey complex ideas clearly and concisely

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a passion and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain compelling, trust-based connections with candidates and stakeholders

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple processes simultaneously, and execute with consistency in a fast-paced environment

  • Selflessly collaborative, with demonstrated success working across functions in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment

  • Strong alignment with Siegfried's culture and values, including fairness, honesty, trustworthiness, respectfulness, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

  • Experience using Workday Recruiting, customer relationship management systems, and data analytics tools to support pipeline management, tracking, and process rigor

  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools, technologies, and automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and insight generation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to support reporting, communication, and data analysis

  • A minimum of 15% travel required, as applicable or requested

  • Ability to work nine to ten hours per day consistently throughout the year

  • Ability and willingness to work in a Siegfried office as requested, in accordance with company policy

  • Availability to work nights and weekends, as needed
