Solutions Analyst

Team: Sales Operations

The opportunity

The modern evolution of estimating, rebuilt for value. You're the technical brain behind winning proposals: design the right label construction, model the pricing, and translate engineering reality into business value the customer can't ignore. You make deals move and margins hold.

What you'll own
  • Partner on Mid-Market and Enterprise proposals; support smaller deals on request
  • Fast proposal turnaround from complete specifications
  • Help compress proposal-to-negotiation cycle time
  • Protect pricing accuracy and margin
  • Build reusable proposal templates by segment and application vertical
  • Coordinate sample production with manufacturing
  • Quantify customer value: uptime, scrap reduction, brand impact, regulatory pass
What it takes
  • 5+ years in technical sales support, applications engineering, or estimating with direct customer-facing proposal involvement (pure back-office estimating is not the profile)
  • Materials-science fluency (substrates, adhesives, liners, finishing) applied to real application environments
  • Print-process literacy: flexographic, digital, offset; pressure-sensitive / narrow-web converting strongly preferred
  • Built detailed cost models and value-aligned pricing strategies
  • Comfortable joining customer calls to surface unmet pain (compliance, line speed, scrap, brand, recall risk)
  • Executive-grade written communication; proposals read for decision-makers, not just spec sheets
Why it's worth it

This is NOT back-office estimating. You're a value-engineering partner to the sales team: marry customer pain to SLI capability and deliver proposals that quantify the outcome, not just the unit price. High craft, high visibility, and real impact on every deal you touch.
