Job description

Shared Apartment Services is hiring!
We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to join our Chicago Leasing Team! The annual salary for this role is $55,000 with full benefits after 90 days of employment.
Overall Responsibility:  

The Compliance Analyst is a team member of the Compliance Department assisting and implementing quality assurance and qualification guidelines for Residential Lease submissions.

Essential Functions:

  • The focus of this role is to actively identify and implement quality assurance processes associated with Residential Leasing.
  • Audit lease submissions to ensure all leasing quality standards are met.
  • Position responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of proof of income, lease application workflow, and quality assurance flow for data collection purposes.
  • Coordinating with other teams including Leasing, Resident Services, Retention, Accounting and Maintenance.
  • Ensure that all sales compliance procedures adhere to Federal, State & Local Fair Housing regulations.
  • Complete employment verifications when required.
  • Audit Subsidy application to ensure proper guidelines are followed.
  • Measure and identify opportunities for procedural improvement, provide recommendations, and execute ideas.
  • Other projects as assigned by supervisor.

 Qualifications:  

  • Prior experience in process improvement preferred.
  • Proficient in basic math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize & manage time required.
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the role.
