Job description

 
 

The Optical Inventory Clerk/Dispenser main role is to dispense glasses that are ready for patient pick up 

In addition to maintaining Inventory of merchandise by maintaining and count of current supplies, restocking displays when frames are sold.  Accepts all incoming inventory for all locations, and forward data to supervisor to input into database.   Ensures that merchandise is rotated as required.  Arranges and maintains display of optical merchandise in an aesthetically pleasing way to ensure proper visibility for sales/promotions. 


At all times, employee is responsible for:

  1. Protecting the physician’s license;
  2. Maintaining confidential any and all information accessible while performing job duties;
  3. Staying in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, OSHA, HIPAA, OIG, and any other legal and/or contractual obligations.

Duties of the Job:

  • Receives incoming merchandise, and pricing.
  • Inputs all inventory into database 
  • Ensures that merchandise is current and appropriate for patients.
  • Will work with coworkers to create aesthetically pleasing displays.     Ensures visibility of merchandise for sales/promotions.
  • Will establish appropriate levels for merchandise.
  • Other assigned duties.



Part Time hours 20-25 hrs a week. May work AM or PM
