We are seeking a hands-on Field Operations Manager to oversee installations, service operations, project execution, and field quality while supporting our growing team.


Position Summary

  • The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all field operations, including installations, service calls, repairs, site measurements, scheduling coordination, quality control, and project execution. This individual will serve as the primary field leader and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to ShadeMonster's quality standards.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable managing both people and projects while remaining willing to assist with field measurements, installations, and troubleshooting when needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Field Operations & Project Oversight
  • Oversee daily installation activities and field personnel
  • Coordinate installation schedules and manpower requirements
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
  • Conduct site visits and quality inspections
  • Attend project meetings with contractors, property managers, and clients
  • Communicate project updates to management and customers


Installation & Service Management

  • Oversee residential and commercial window treatment installations
  • Coordinate service calls, repairs, punch-list items, and warranty work
  • Train installers on company standards and installation procedures
  • Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards


Site Measurements & Field Support

  • Conduct field measurements for residential and commercial projects
  • Verify dimensions and site conditions prior to fabrication
  • Perform basic installations and repairs when required
  • Assist with troubleshooting installation and product issues
  • Train on motorized shade systems and emerging technologies


Project Coordination

  • Assist with project planning and execution
  • Review installation requirements and site logistics
  • Coordinate deliveries, materials, and equipment
  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays


Safety & Quality Control

  • Ensure job sites remain safe and professional
  • Maintain company installation standards
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
  • Resolve field issues and customer concerns promptly


Qualifications

  • Experience managing field crews, installations, construction projects, or service teams
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to read plans, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in both the field and office environment
  • Experience using technology, project management software, and mobile applications


Preferred Qualifications (a PLUS)

  • Experience in window treatments, glazing, millwork, construction, low-voltage systems, or related trades
  • Knowledge of motorized shade systems (Lutron, Somfy, Rollease, etc.)
  • Basic electrical or low-voltage experience
  • Experience conducting field measurements
  • Experience managing subcontractors and installers


Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Ability to travel to job sites throughout South Florida
  • Authorization to work in the United States
