Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our growing practice in Rancho Mirage, CA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality eye care services, including medical and surgical treatment of a wide range of ocular conditions. Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases and conditions.
- Provide medical and surgical treatment for a variety of eye disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and other anterior and posterior segment diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and manage patient care effectively.
- Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education.
- Educate patients and their families about eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
- Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven experience in comprehensive ophthalmology, including surgical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
