Job description

CT & X-ray Technologist - Full Time
Location: St Paul, MN, 55110
What you will be doing:
  • Perform CT exams and assist physician in invasive procedures.
  • Obtain patient history, answer questions, and provide the patient with information about the exam and/or procedure.
  • Work with the radiologists, referring clinics and/or patients to ensure the appropriate exams, films and medical records are corrected and prepared for the exam.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete for the radiologist, referring clinic and the patient's medical records.
  • Stock and/or order department supplies and assist in other departments.
  • Incorporate company values into daily interactions with internal and external customers.
Experience you will need:
  • RT (R) (CT) required within one year of employment.
  • 3-6 months general x-ray experience preferred.
  • 6-12 months CT experience preferred.
  • IV and power contrast injector experience preferred.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge of basic radiologic principles, procedures, methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent patient care, problem solving, organizational, communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
  • Competent in using a computer keyboard, email, Imagecast, and PACS or similar applications.
