Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York.
We collect data where automation is not possible. Our teams count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas to capture every detail needed to support more informed decisions.
Our field data collection teams operate across Europe and North America and are always ready to take on new challenges.
Project ObjectiveThe goal of this project is to collect images of streets, major points of interest, and public areas across the United States.
Data collection is performed using vehicles equipped with specialized 360-degree cameras mounted on the roof. These cameras capture images of the environment surrounding the vehicle and store them on computers installed inside the car. The collected data will later be used to enhance one of the most widely used online maps in the world.
Data collectors will follow predefined routes on public roads and through specific areas, with a focus on commercial districts and historical locations. Due to weather conditions or other environmental factors, some areas may need to be visited multiple times to ensure the highest possible image quality.
The project is expected to last at least 3 months and may cover multiple city or state zones.
ScheduleMonday to Friday
8 hours per day (40 hours per week)
Additional hours may be available depending on project needs
Weekend work may occasionally be required due to weather delays
Safely operate a vehicle equipped with mapping and data collection equipment
Follow assigned routes and project instructions accurately
Monitor the data collection system during operations
Report technical issues or irregularities to the project team
Ensure proper care and safe parking of the company vehicle
Complete daily reporting and maintain clear communication with the team
Valid Driver License with at least 1–2 years of driving experience
Clean driving record
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to pass a background check (criminal and driving record)
Private monitored parking space for the company vehicle
Availability for a minimum of 3 months
Good knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns
Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
Good communication and reporting skills
Basic technical skills (smartphone, email, and basic applications)
Basic computer literacy
General car knowledge is a plus
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
