About the Armstrong Flight Research Center: The Occupational Medicine function also promotes the health of the Air Force C workforce through the operation and management of an on-site Fitness Center and wellness campaigns (e.g. flu vaccinations, blood pressure checks).

Responsibilities
Job Specific Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Perform work-related medical examinations.
  • Assess, treat and manage workplace illnesses and injuries within the purview of the Health Unit.
  • Respond immediately to 911 emergency calls in accordance with the Center’s Emergency.
  • Assess non-work-related illnesses.
  • Document all patient contacts in the NASA-provided electronic health record system (EHRS).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (certified by the American Heart Association).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (certified by the American Heart Association).
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Certification
Compensation: $20-$25 an hour with Health and Wellness $5.09 an hour
Location: Armstrong Flight Research Center
