Serenity Mindscape, a rapidly expanding behavioral health practice, invites dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team in providing transformative mental healthcare. This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while delivering quality therapeutic support. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary role involves working closely with couples and families to navigate complex emotional landscapes. You will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families, developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions addressing various issues, including alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.
  • Utilize therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused interventions to meet specific client needs.
  • Document client progress and treatment effectiveness using our advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse client population that includes individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges such as:

  • Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.
  • Support for blended families amid transitions.
  • Strategies for managing job-related stress and medical issues.
  • Healing relationships disrupted by issues like abuse or significant life changes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A strong commitment to ethical practice and a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome both newly licensed and experienced therapists, candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling.
  • Expertise in working with children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in clinical care.
