Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn from one another.
  • Individual Therapy Sessions: Conduct personalized counseling sessions, offering empathetic guidance and helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings while developing actionable coping strategies.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address each client’s specific needs, preferences, and goals for recovery.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress using various assessment tools, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on client feedback and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, coordinating treatment approaches and consulting on complex cases to enhance client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on young adults ages 18 to 30 who are facing various mental health and mood disorders. This demographic often requires tailored approaches to therapy that resonate with their experiences, and as an LPCC, you will be integral in providing the support necessary for them to gain insight and build coping mechanisms to lead fulfilling lives. Your work will significantly contribute to their journey toward mental clarity and emotional resilience.

Qualifications
  • Licensure: Valid and active LPCC licensure in California is required.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is necessary, with additional qualifications in mental health counseling preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing mental health treatment to clients within both residential and outpatient settings, effectively addressing mood and anxiety disorders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating group therapy and individual counseling, including effective engagement techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, alongside a generous sign-on bonus of $3,000. In addition to financial compensation, employees enjoy:
