The role requires traveling between Miami Marriott properties (Miami Beach Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne Ritz Carlton, Biscayne Bay Marriott and occasionally to Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove)
Status: Full-Time permanent position (40 hours)
Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F
Job Profile Summary
Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating health education programs, which are based on behavioral objectives with, defined measurable outcomes. Responsible for providing quality services and programs to meet identified needs of targeted populations of different learning abilities. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of national preventive health issues and strategies in order to function as a resource in the areas of preventive health, health maintenance, and health promotion.
Education:
  • Master Level Degree Health Education, Nursing or Related Field REQUIRED

Certification:
  • Cert Health Education Specialist (CHES) or other health education-based certification through the National Wellness Institute, Wellness Councils of America, Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse (RN) REQUIRED within a year of hired date.

Experience:
  • Management- Previous Experience (required)
  • Business Acumen- Previous Experience (required)
  • Health Education Programs- 5 years (required)
  • Bilingual English/Creole and/or English/ Spanish (required)
