Sensations in Learning is seeking passionate, energetic educators to join our Next Generation Nature-Based School community. What You'll Do
What You'll Do

As an SIL Teaching Titan, you'll help create a learning environment where children learn through exploration, discovery, play, and connection.

Your days may include:

• Building forts and creating outdoor learning spaces
• Taking daily nature walks and community adventures
• Caring for chickens and ducks alongside children
• Collecting eggs and teaching animal stewardship
• Gardening, composting, and environmental education
• Creating engaging learning experiences based on children's interests
• Supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Documenting learning and communicating with families
• Collaborating with a passionate teaching team
• Helping children develop confidence, independence, and a sense of wonder

You'll also ensure classroom practices meet all licensing, health, safety, and program requirements while maintaining a clean, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements
Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Two years of professional childcare experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic technology skills or willingness to learn
• Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
• Understanding of child development or a strong desire to learn

This position requires frequent walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, outdoor exploration, and active participation in children's play and learning experiences.

Conveniently located just off Route 2 in Williston, Sensations in Learning is a nature-based early childhood program intentionally designed to feel like home while reflecting our commitment to high-quality education. Our beautiful post-and-beam building features brick floors in our Infant, Younger Toddler, Early Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms, high ceilings, and large schoolhouse windows that fill each space with natural light. Classrooms are warm, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared to support connection, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. Outdoors, children and educators share daily experiences with our expansive natural play areas, gardens, and Outdoor Classroom—along with our beloved chickens, who are an important part of children’s learning about responsibility, care, and community.
