Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Live-In Caregiver for a client in Kettering who requires assistance on Sundays and Mondays. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate caregiver looking for a consistent schedule with live-in hours.
Shift Details:
- Days: Sundays and Mondays
- Hours: 9:00 AM on Sunday to 9:00 AM on Tuesday (16 hours)
- Sleep Time: 8 hours provided during the shift
- Pay: Compensation for 16 hours of care
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care for a client with dementia (ambulation support, bathing, dressing)
- Meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Medication reminders
- Light homemaking and housekeeping tasks
The client is ambulatory but requires total care.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Must have a Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Ability to assist with various activities of daily living
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Must be comfortable providing personal care
- Must be available to start ASAP
Benefits:
- Pay rate up to $17/hour (DOE)
- Weekend differential pay: $1.50 more per hour for day shifts and $2.00 more per hour for night shifts
