Job Title: Director of Community Relations
Location: Senior Living Community – Dupage County Illinois. 

Position Overview
The Director of Community Relations supports outreach and relationship-building efforts that connect the community with local partners, families, and referral sources. This role focuses on maintaining strong professional relationships, coordinating outreach activity, and supporting occupancy goals through steady communication with hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and community groups

• Represent the community at networking events, professional meetings, and outreach activities

• Track referral sources and follow up consistently with partners and families

• Coordinate tours and introductions for prospective residents and families

• Work with leadership to support occupancy and referral development goals

• Maintain regular communication with referral partners regarding services and availability

• Support local marketing initiatives and community events

• Maintain records of outreach activity and referral trends

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare outreach, admissions, marketing, or community relations preferred

• Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings helpful

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Ability to organize outreach activity and maintain professional contacts

• Comfortable representing a healthcare organization in community settings
