Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions as outlined in detailed care plans, adhering to established protocols.
  • Closely monitor patient responses during treatment sessions, documenting vital observations and changes to be relayed to the supervising PT, ensuring safe and effective care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical records (EMR) system to maintain compliance and track improvement.
  • Provide educational support to patients regarding exercise regimens and rehabilitation activities, fostering motivation and guiding them through their healing processes.
  • Ensure all therapeutic equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and set up for use, prioritizing patient safety and organizational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop and revise treatment strategies, contributing to case discussions and sharing insights to optimize patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Senior Flex Therapy Center, our primary focus is on patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and those managing chronic conditions. We often encounter geriatric populations, post-operative patients, and individuals with mobility challenges. This role is vital in helping patients regain strength, enhance mobility, and achieve their rehabilitation goals while promoting a culture of empathy, encouragement, and patient engagement.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active California PTA license.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, complemented by the ability to motivate and inspire patients during their recovery.
  • A collaborative attitude, with a keen attention to detail in every aspect of patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous outpatient experience is a distinct advantage; however, we welcome new graduates and are committed to providing mentorship and training.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
