Job Description

Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
Take and process dental X-rays ensuring quality diagnostic images.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans.
Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to develop individualized care strategies.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment details using Eaglesoft software.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Administer nitrous oxide sedation as required (certification needed).
Maintain a friendly and professional rapport with patients to foster comfort and trust.

Salary Range

Part-time $40 - $48 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license.
CPR and X-Ray certifications.
Nitrous Oxide certification preferred but not mandatory.
Proficient in dental assisting and clinical procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Preferences

Experience with Eaglesoft dental software.
Previous dental office experience.
AED certification is a plus.
