Purpose 

The Sales Rep is responsible developing client relationships and generating HVAC sales in their designated territory. 

Essential Job Functions 

E Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services. 

E Develop key client relationships, negotiate and close deals. 

E Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete; ones that can be easily transferred to the installation team. 

E Create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing. 

E Get potential customers excited about our company and encourage good word of mouth marketing. 

E Become an expert of our market area and know the customer needs. 

E Help set aggressive sales plans and propose expansions. 

E Track all sales and submit sales reports at the end of each pay period. 

N Other duties as assigned. 

Work Hours 

This is an exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Extended hours and weekends may be required to meet business needs. 

Competencies 

Must have a proven track record in sales. Individual is highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Must have strong verbal and written communications. Must have an outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Has good presentation and public speaking skills. Individual is highly motivated, flexible, and has positive attitude. 

Education and Experience 

Requires a valid driver’s license. Requires a high school diploma and/or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years of prior HVAC sales experience. 

Physical Demands 

Frequently works in outside weather conditions. May be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet, snow, hot, and humid conditions. Subject to dark confined workspaces such as crawl spaces and attics. 

Supervisory Responsibility 

None. All questionable matters are referred to Supervisor. 

Travel 

Willing to travel within the following counties King, Snohomish, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Island (travel may occur within other counties).
